Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Nawaf Al Maawda led Bahrain’s delegation participating in the review of Bahrain’s periodic report before the Committee Against Torture at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva.
The review examined the measures adopted by the kingdom in relation to the rights enshrined in the Convention Against Torture and the progress made in ensuring compliance .
