Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty King Hamad and Supreme Council for Women (SCW) president, yesterday attended Bahraini Women’s Day celebration, held this year under the theme ‘Bahraini Women: Distinction, Creativity, Innovation’.
She said that Bahraini Women’s Day has become a distinguished annual occasion that has long been supported by His Majesty.
SCW member Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, vice-president Dr Shaikha Mariam bint Hassan Al Khalifa, and secretary general Lulwa Al Awadhi presented awards to women who had received regional and international recognition.
