National Security Adviser and Royal Guard Commander Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa received Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin in the presence of Deputy National Security Adviser Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa.
Lt Gen Shaikh Nasser emphasised the importance of strengthening co-operation between Bahrain and Russia in support of regional security and stability.
He noted the continued advancement of Bahrain-Russia relations, guided by the strategic vision of the leadership of both countries, which reflects the strength of bilateral co-operation and the steady growth of their partnership.
The meeting discussed regional and international developments and opportunities to enhance co-operation and exchange expertise between the two countries.
