BASKETBALL – The second official game of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Philippine Cup in Bahrain is scheduled for tonight at Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town.
Rain or Shine Elasto Painters – winners against Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots on Monday night – return to the hardwood for another contest against Barangay Ginebra San Miguel.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7pm and tickets can also be bought through a QR code published on the Bahrain Basketball Association Instagram account @bh.bba.
The PBA games in Bahrain are part of the league’s 50th anniversary season, and they coincide with the kingdom’s National Day celebrations.
The Elasto Painters powered to a resounding 101-92 victory over the Hotshots to secure a twice-to-beat advantage in the quarter-finals of the PBA Philippine Cup.
They improved to an 8-2 win-loss record as they complete their preliminary round schedule tonight.
Barangay Ginebra will be determined to triumph, with their squad currently sitting eighth on the conference’s table with a 5-4 record.
