Parliament speaker Ahmed Al Musallam issued a statement noting that a series of recent meetings had been held with the executive authority to discuss initiatives and measures aimed at enhancing Bahrain’s public finances.Mr Al Musallam commended the directives of His Majesty King Hamad, which place the Bahraini citizen at the centre of national priorities, and referred to the statement issued on December 16 by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, implementing the directives on the continuation of electricity and water services for citizens’ first homes .
