Taekwondo – The Bahrain Taekwondo Federation Championship 2025 concluded after strong competition, with more than 100 male and female athletes from 10 local teams.
The event was held at the Isa Bin Rashid Sports Halls in Isa Town and featured a high technical standard, reflecting the continued development of taekwondo in Bahrain.
In the girls’ category, DLQ took first place, while Al Doy Centre won the boys’ category. Bahrain Taekwondo School finished first in the young women’s category, and Al Doy Centre claimed first in the young men’s category.
In the women’s category, Al Doy Centre also finished first, and Bahrain Taekwondo School won the men’s category.
The championship highlighted the progress of local teams and young talent. Federation president Abdulla Isa Al Doy said the event underscored the success of the federation’s technical and organisational plans and played an important role in preparing players for upcoming local, regional and international competitions.
He also commended the support of General Sports Authority deputy chairman and Bahrain Combat Sports Council president Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa in advancing the sport.
