I have been paying BD150 a month for the past two years for a rental car. Recently, two of the car’s tyres popped, through no fault of my own. When I requested the company to cover the cost of replacement, they told me that it was my damage to fix.
It seems unfair that, as a long-term customer, I am expected to bear the cost of damage that was not caused by me. If we are fulfilling our part of the agreement by paying monthly, the company should also honour its responsibility and provide necessary support.
I ended up calling the company and explaining these points to them to show them that their attitude and response was not fair and they should be more willing to help me, especially because of the amount of money I have given them over the years.
In my opinion, it is as if companies don’t really care to help their customers anymore and it is disappointing. Now, I am looking to take my business elsewhere and see if there is another company that offers better conditions for its customers.
I wish companies treat customers fairly and take accountability for issues that are beyond their control.
