The Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced that three hostile drones were detected, intercepted and destroyed in the airspace of the Eastern Region, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The Armed Forces affirmed the high efficiency of air defence systems in neutralising threats targeting the security and stability of Saudi territory.
Turki Al Malki, Official Spokesperson of the Ministry of Defence, said that air defence systems engaged the targets with precision upon detection, stressing the full readiness of the Armed Forces to counter hostile attempts and protect national assets.
