This is in response to two GDN reports – ‘Dubai impounds Lamborghini after reckless driving video goes viral’ and ‘Tougher measures urged against public indecency’.
We are all grateful that authorities are now investigating the intoxicated and unruly conduct in some of Bahrain’s most popular nightlife areas.
Would you kindly investigate the night-time noise (motorcycles and honking) and reckless driving in these neighbourhoods as well?
I adore Dubai’s initiative in apprehending the careless motorist and imposing a hefty fine. Others will undoubtedly learn a lesson from that.
I hope the relevant authorities follow Dubai’s lead so that people in Bahrain’s most popular nightlife areas can eventually sleep well.
