The ICC Trophy Tour, which commenced in Bahrain, was exceptionally well organised, with the opening event held at Water Garden City. I was fortunate to attend this event and had the opportunity to view the ICC Trophy up close on the main stage.
The three-day tour programme was thoughtfully designed to attract cricket fans and enthusiasts from different sections of the community. Events were organised at various locations to allow people to participate and celebrate the ICC Trophy Tour conveniently within their own areas.
In the evening, the ICC Trophy was taken to Avenue Mall, accompanied by an impressive escort of bike riders.
The journey to Water Garden City was equally spectacular, with the trophy escorted by numerous speedboats and other boats, creating a memorable visual experience.
As part of the tour, the ICC Trophy also visited schools, cricket grounds, Dana Mall and the famous eco-tourism destination, the Tree of Life.
These visits not only generated excitement among students and sports lovers but also attracted tourists, further promoting Bahrain as a vibrant destination.
Overall, the ICC Trophy Tour successfully combined sports, tourism and community engagement.
With favourable weather conditions, the tour brought people together across different locations in the country over three days, offering a variety of entertainment and creating lasting memories for cricket fans and the general public alike.
