An Asian woman has been apprehended in Oman after a video of her allegedly insulting the Omani Rial went viral on social media.
The video featured Omani banknotes placed in a sink under a running tap, accompanied by the caption: "POV: How my family think I make money abroad." According to the Royal Oman Police (ROP), the Directorate General of Inquiries and Criminal Investigations has initiated formal legal proceedings against the individual.
