His Majesty King Hamad received Parliament Speaker Ahmed Al Musallam; Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh; and Supreme Judicial Council deputy chairman and Court of Cassation President Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, at Al Sakhir Palace.
The meeting was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
They extended their congratulations on the 25th anniversary of the National Action Charter, commending Bahrain’s significant progress, comprehensive developmental achievements, and distinguished international standing under His Majesty’s leadership.
The King commended the legislative authority’s role in developing laws that meet citizens’ needs and support national progress, as well as the judiciary’s role in upholding justice, equality, and rights.
He noted the strong co-operation between the executive and legislative authorities and emphasised the importance of enhancing it to serve the country and its people.
The King emphasised that the National Action Charter continues to serve as a guiding framework for the kingdom’s sustained progress and development.
His Majesty highlighted the significant contributions of the Bahraini people to national advancement, noting their commitment to unity, co-operation, tolerance, and cultural openness, which have positioned Bahrain as a recognised model of coexistence, moderation, and social pluralism.
