The UAE has announced Eid Al Fitr holidays for both private and public sector employees.
The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has confirmed that all ministries, institutions, and public sector entities will be closed for four days, from 19 to 22 March.
Private sector employees will observe the holiday from 19 to 21 March. Authorities added that should Ramadan last 30 days, the private sector holiday will be extended to 22 March.
These dates remain tentative, as the exact commencement of Eid Al Fitr depends on the sighting of the crescent moon. The UAE's moon-sighting committee is scheduled to convene on 18 March.
