Following the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to open, renovate and restore 60 mosques under the Sunni and Jaafari Endowments Councils, Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Nawaf Al Maawda opened the Hessa Al Bakr Mosque in Muharraq and South Isa Town Mosque, following the completion of comprehensive maintenance work.
Mr Al Maawda praised the support of His Majesty King Hamad and the directives of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister in supporting places of worship, reflecting their central role in the spiritual and social life of Muslims.
