His Majesty King Hamad received a telephone call from German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
During the call, the President affirmed his country’s solidarity with Bahrain, condemning the Iranian attacks on the kingdom’s territory. He stressed his country’s backing for Bahrain in the measures it takes to safeguard its sovereignty, security and national achievements.
His Majesty affirmed that Bahrain will continue to adhere to its firm approach based on wisdom and moderation, and to strengthening peace and co-operation with its Arab, regional and international partners, in a manner that serves the security and stability of the region.
His Majesty also expressed his deep appreciation and gratitude for Germany’s stances and for the sincere sentiments of solidarity expressed by President Steinmeier.
