The Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA) held its 35th session of the fifth term, chaired by SCIA president Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa.
The council commended the address delivered by His Majesty King Hamad on the occasion of the last ten days of Ramadan, noting its call to uphold the values of true religion and adhere to its principles in belief, ethics, and tolerance in a manner that promotes compassion, solidarity, and human unity.
The Council also commended the meeting held by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, with the president and members of the SCIA and several religious scholars at the Ahmed Al Fateh Islamic Centre.
The council praised HRH Prince Salman’s call to promote moderation and tolerance and to reinforce the values of Islam that strengthen societal awareness and national belonging during Ramadan.
