The Industry and Commerce Ministry has confirmed an abundance of livestock, meat and poultry supplies across Bahrain’s markets, ensuring consumer needs are met ahead of Eid Al Fitr.
The ministry noted that the regular arrival of livestock shipments reflects the local market’s readiness to meet seasonal demand. These indicators highlight the resilience of Bahrain’s food supply chain, maintained through proactive planning with the private sector to ensure the flow of essential commodities across all governorates.
Prices of meat and poultry remain stable and competitive, supported by an abundant supply and ongoing regulatory monitoring. The ministry continues to track markets daily via electronic systems and field inspections at slaughterhouses and retail points, it noted.
The ministry emphasised that market stability and the availability of essential goods represent a national priority, commending the co-operation of suppliers in supporting food security. Citizens and residents are encouraged to purchase according to their actual needs to maintain market balance.
