Counselling services have now been included in a new suite of support initiatives launched by Solidarity Bahrain, aimed at helping people navigate the challenges arising from the ongoing regional situation.
Solidarity Bahrain – one of the kingdom’s leading insurance providers and a subsidiary of Solidarity Group Holding – has unveiled several initiatives designed to safeguard members’ physical and mental well-being. These measures will ensure continued access to healthcare services, remote medical consultations and convenient medication delivery.
Counselling services will now be covered under Solidarity Bahrain’s medical insurance policies, providing policyholders and their families access to professional guidance during this period.
Coverage has also been expanded to include tele-consultation services offered by selected hospitals in Bahrain, enabling customers to consult with doctors remotely without visiting a healthcare facility.
In addition, the company has introduced a home delivery service for prescribed medications, including chronic conditions, enabling policyholders to receive their medications safely and conveniently at home by contacting the 24/7 hotline number listed on their medical insurance cards. This service aims to enhance accessibility to essential treatments while ensuring the comfort and well-being of members.
Solidarity Bahrain Life and Medical deputy chief executive officer Enas Asiri said the wellbeing of their customers and the wider community was always their ‘highest priority’.
“We recognise that times of uncertainty can bring both emotional and practical challenges, which is why these initiatives are focused on ensuring continued access to healthcare services and mental health support,” she said.
“These measures reflect our commitment to standing by our customers and helping them access the health care they need in a safe and convenient way,” she added.
“At Solidarity Bahrain, we continuously strive to enhance our services and respond proactively to the evolving needs of our customers. By introducing flexible healthcare solutions and expanding access to remote medical services, we aim to provide greater reassurance and support for our policyholders and their families.” The GDN reported yesterday that the company announced the launch of a series of exclusive offers and benefits on general and motor insurance policies, specifically designed for frontliners working at the BDF, the National Guard, the Interior Ministry and the Health Ministry.
The initiative comes in recognition of their ongoing efforts and vital role in maintaining the security and stability of the kingdom during the current circumstances.
The company is offering discounts across a range of insurance policies, alongside a suite of add-ons designed to provide greater convenience and flexibility for frontliners. The offers include a 20 per cent discount on third-party motor insurance, 15pc on comprehensive motor insurance, 20pc on home insurance, and up to 50pc off travel insurance.
In addition, Solidarity Bahrain provides a range of VIP services to facilitate everyday needs, including pickup and delivery for routine maintenance, taxi service and car replacement, traffic inspection and vehicle registration services, airport drop-off service and emergency home assistance services.
