HANDBALL – AL Shabab posted a 35-31 victory over Al Tadhamun last night as matchweek 16 continued in the 2025-26 Khalid Bin Hamad Bahrain Handball League.
Shabab held a slim 17-15 advantage at the half and did enough over the concluding 30 minutes to come away with the tight win at the Bahrain Handball Federation Arena in Um Al Hassam Sports Complex.
With the result, Shabab claimed their 13th win in 15 outings as they improved to 41 points – behind only unbeaten leaders and defending champions Al Najma, who were in action in another fixture late yesterday, missing our deadlines.
Tadhamun suffered their seventh defeat to go with six wins as they went to 27 points.
League action continues tonight with another two games on schedule at the same venue to wrap up this 16th round of the current season. At 9pm, Al Ettihad take on Barbar followed at 10.30pm by Al Ettifaq facing off with Al Ahli.
