BAHRAIN Olympic Committee (BOC) vice president Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa has been appointed Union of Arab National Olympic Committees (UANOC) executive office vice president.
This was announced by the UANOC.
The decision was issued based on the powers vested in UANOC president Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, and following the approval of the general assembly at its 23rd meeting held in November of last year, which granted the kingdom the right to host the 16th Arab Games in 2027.
The decision also follows the letter submitted by the BOC secretary general regarding the formation of the supreme organising committee for the Arab Games.
The appointment shall remain in effect until the conclusion of the 16th Arab Games.
