The General Directorate of Civil Defence concluded the activities of a specialised training programme, attended by more than 54 volunteers registered through the National Volunteering Platform, in the presence of the Director‑General of Civil Defence.
The programme featured a range of advanced training modules, including first aid, hazardous materials handling, public safety concepts, emergency evacuation procedures and firefighting skills.
It was delivered within an integrated framework that combined both theoretical instruction and hands‑on practical training.
The initiative aims to enhance preparedness levels, improve volunteer efficiency, and equip participants with the skills required to manage various emergency situations with a high level of professionalism.
This contributes to strengthening the public safety system and ensuring the protection of lives and property.
