PARALYMPICS – THE Bahrain Paralympic Committee’s (BPC) Para athletics delegation departed for Morocco yesterday to participate in the Rabat 2026 World Para Athletics Grand Prix.
The delegation includes a number of athletes participating in various competitions. Sayed Hussein Ahmed will compete in shot put and javelin throw, while Salem Al Dosari will run the 100 metres and 200m sprints.
Zahraa Al Jabouri will participate in the women’s shot put and javelin throw, and Abdulla Rashid will compete in the shot put and discus throw.
BPC secretary general Ali Mohammed Al Majed affirmed that this participation is part of the BPC’s plan to develop the level of its Para athletes and prepare them for international competitions.
He noted that the committee has provided all means of technical and administrative support to ensure the Para athletes’ best possible readiness.
