Bahrain Polytechnic and Bahrain University alumni recently gathered at the Ajoor Family Majlis for their fourth annual reunion.
The event brought together more than 90 former students of the classes of 1975 to 1990 after more than four decades.
Many faculty members, led by former Bahrain University president Dr Ibrahim Al Hashimi, also attended.
The programme featured entertainment, creative performances and competitions, among other things, as well as a live painting session by artist and engineer Salah Alkharaz.
Author Zubaida Albaluchi presented her book on the role of Arab women in trade union work to Dr Al Hashimi and the organising committee.
