An alleged hit-and-run incident in Kuwait has sparked a legal dispute after a luxury car driver claimed that an expatriate victim deliberately threw himself in front of the vehicle.
The incident occurred in Farwaniya, prompting a rapid response from emergency services. Upon arrival, authorities noted that the initial circumstances of the collision appeared unusual.
During questioning, the driver told investigators that the expat had moved into the road and directly into the path of the car of his own accord.
The victim was immediately transported to hospital and remains in intensive care. Meanwhile, the driver has been taken into custody as part of the ongoing hit-and-run investigation.
