Fifty-seven individuals were arrested by Haj security forces for attempting to enter Mecca illegally without the requisite Haj permits.
Among those arrested were an Egyptian resident and a Saudi citizen who were found transporting 43 pilgrims in a truck containing a hidden compartment intended to circumvent regulations.
Legal actions have commenced against these violators. Additionally, 12 others were apprehended for attempting to enter Mecca on foot without valid Haj permits, illustrating a significant breach of Haj guidelines.
In response, Public Security has emphasised the importance of adhering to Haj regulations and has encouraged all Saudi citizens and residents to report violations by calling 911 in Mecca, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 999 in other parts of the Kingdom.
