His Majesty King Hamad yesterday issued a royal decree pardoning 226 inmates on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.
The royal pardon includes convicts who have served part of their sentences, in addition to a number of individuals under alternative sentencing.
The pardon reflects His Majesty’s commitment to provide those pardoned with the opportunity to reintegrate into society and contribute to Bahrain’s comprehensive development process.
