A consortium of the kingdom’s leading businesses, including the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB), have come together to demonstrate their national pride with a special musical tribute.
The song titled Balad Al Salam (Arabic: Land of Peace) features Bahraini musicians Yousif Al Jabri and Flipperachi.
The group of organisations who collaborated in commissioning the tribute includes Alba, GFH Bank, Jahez, Seef Properties and stc Bahrain.
“The song and accompanying video pay homage to the loyalty with which the country stands behind its esteemed leadership and institutions as they continue to safeguard the kingdom’s security and stability,” NBB said in a statement.
“Delivering a harmonised message of reassurance to the Bahraini community, the production stands as a sincere expression of gratitude to the kingdom’s frontline institutions, including the Bahrain Defence Force, Interior Ministry, National Guard and the Health Ministry.
“It recognises their continued vigilance and highlights the operational readiness and institutional strength that underpin the protection of the kingdom’s sovereignty and the safety of its people.”
The song and music video were produced by Bahraini production houses Atnafas Creative and Outlaw Productions, which led its conceptualisation, direction and artistic development.
Through music, the participating organisations are aiming to ‘connect with audiences both at home and across the region, reinforcing that the voice of unity remains Bahrain’s greatest strength during challenging times’.
According to the companies’ social media channels, the song will be unveiled today at noon.
