Tougher action urged against slow drivers
If you prefer to drive at a slower speed, kindly use the middle or right lanes and keep the fast lane clear for overtaking. A little road courtesy helps traffic flow smoothly and keeps everyone safer. Drive safe and respect all road users.
@vineethkalarikkal
The traffic application should include an option that allows users to upload reports of slow-moving vehicles blocking the fast lane so appropriate fines can be issued after review.

If people drove like this in the US, they could get shot by someone in a road rage incident – no joke. The level of poor driving here, especially while texting, speaking on the phone, and sending voice messages, is shocking. There is also a clear lack of adherence to road rules and basic courtesy. The Bahrain government should enforce these rules more strictly.
@swedie68
Thanks for noticing. This is a big issue in Bahrain with people hogging lanes and they don’t change lanes and pretend they see nothing behind, left, or right. They shut their eyes and focus in front.
@ajuba35915
Yes finally. They are health hazards as it increases the blood pressure and stress of drivers behind them causing them to engage in rash driving in the end. It’s a lose-lose situation for all.
@kiranbe
Finally, someone is addressing the real issues. Bad driving behaviour includes going too slowly and then speeding up if someone tries to overtake. Drivers intentionally block others from merging into lanes. Using a turn signal even seems to be taken as a challenge by some people.
@joker_real1
Finally, action needs to be taken against them.
@fhd6.2x
The problem isn’t with fast or slow… the problem is with extremely inadequate teaching and testing, using phones while driving and too little traffic enforcement – and minimal consequences for dangerous driving.
@k_hardeman_tesar
Getting ticketed by cameras is frustrating, and I’m sure people will stop being friendly drivers because of this system. I prefer to be stopped and ticketed by a great Bahraini police officer.
@karimrealone
We need a ban on heavy industrial vehicles during after-school hours.
