FOOTBALL – INFORMATION Minister Dr Ramzan Al Noaimi attended a ceremony last night honouring Bahrain Sports Channel staff as well as the team behind the football analysis studio for Bahrain’s competitions.
Bahrain Football Association (BFA) vice-president Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Isa Al Khalifa was also on hand, along with sponsors, partners, and supporters who contributed to the success of the coverage of the past football season.
Dr Al Noaimi said that the achievements of Bahraini sports media and its continued development reflect the wider progress and success of the kingdom’s sports. He noted that Bahraini sport continues to record notable accomplishments and strong representation at various levels, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Dr Al Noaimi commended the continued support given to the sports sector by His Majesty King Hamad’s humanitarian works and youth affairs representative and Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and that of SCYS first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority chairman, and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
He noted that this has contributed to ongoing sporting activity, which has enriched sports media content and strengthened its presence across media platforms.
The Information Minister commended the efforts of the staff in the analysis studio and sports programmes, highlighting their professionalism and performance in delivering high-quality sports content. He also highlighted the role of Bahrain Sports Channel in covering local sporting events and competitions and showcasing national achievements.
Dr. Al Noaimi noted the strong success of the football analysis studio during the past season, which produced 40 programmes covering major local tournaments and competitions with the participation of a group of Bahraini sports analysts. He underscored that this helped generate wide audience engagement across the digital platforms of Bahrain Sports Channel.
He also commended the cooperation with the BFA, headed by BFA president Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and thanked Shaikh Khalifa for attending the ceremony, reflecting the spirit of cooperation and partnership between the two sides.
