VOLLEYBALL – BAHRAIN Volleyball Association (BVA) president Shaikh Ali bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received BVA board member and referees committee chairman Rashed Jaber, who presented him with the group of referees who passed the Asian referees’ course to complete the requirements for obtaining an international badge.
The meeting was held in the presence of a number of BVA board members and referees committee officials.
Shaikh Ali welcomed the referees and expressed his happiness at qualifying the new group to join their continental colleagues, as part of the ongoing effort to strengthen the base of officials in the game, given their importance in the success of national competitions.
Shaikh Ali affirmed that referees constitute a fundamental element in the sports system and are a key factor in the success of the sports season.
He highlighted the BVA’s keenness to develop their levels and help provide the referees the opportunity to obtain the highest degrees, which also enhances the reputation of Bahraini officials.
