Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), Nasser Centre for Science and Technology (NCST), and Kooheji Foundation signed a co-operation agreement to support and fund the development, renovation, and equipping of a new NCST branch at Bahrain International Investment Park in the Muharraq Governorate.
The project aims to provide an advanced educational and training environment, enhance vocational and technical programmes, and introduce a specialised training programme in hospitality and hotel management.
RHF acting secretary general Ibrahim Al-Dossari praised the directives of His Majesty King Hamad for supporting the education sector in. He also commended the support of His Majesty’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and RHF board of trustees chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for establishing NCST and supporting the development of its educational and training programmes.
Mr Al-Dossari said the agreement reflects RHF’s commitment to supporting educational and training initiatives that contribute to preparing and empowering national talents. He noted that NCST, launched by RHF in 2014, is one of the foundation’s development projects, and that the new branch in the Muharraq Governorate will enable a greater number of students and young people to benefit from specialised educational and training programmes.
He also expressed appreciation to Kooheji Foundation for supporting the project and highlighted the importance of community partnerships in advancing educational and development initiatives.
NCST chief executive officer Dr Abdulla Al Noaimi said the new branch represents a step in expanding the centre’s educational and training services and providing more opportunities for young people to benefit from specialised programmes aligned with labour market requirements and national development priorities.
Kooheji Foundation board of trustees chairman Abdulghaffar Al Kooheji said the foundation is proud to contribute to the project as part of its commitment to investing in people and equipping young people with future skills and knowledge.
