The Bahrain National Museum yesterday announced that it is displaying the ‘Document of Thanks and Loyalty’ bearing the signatures of His Majesty King Hamad and his sons.
The document is addressed to the citizens of Bahrain in recognition of their patriotic stance and in appreciation of the loyalty, sincerity and strong sense of belonging they have shown towards the nation.
Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities president Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa said the initiative reflects the wise leadership of His Majesty in recognising and honouring the people of Bahrain, particularly for their patriotic stances and steadfastness during the Iranian aggression, which reaffirmed their loyalty to the nation and its leadership.
He added that hosting the document aligns with the museum’s mission to preserve national memory and safeguard artefacts that reflect Bahrain’s history and enduring values, making them accessible to present and future generations as part of a shared national legacy.
The document also reflects the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to promote responsibility and collective action in advancing the kingdom’s development and prosperity.
Visitors can view the document at the Bahrain National Museum daily from 9am to 6pm, except on Tuesdays.
