VOLLEYBALL – Team Interlock and Team Sindikato claimed their respective titles in The Indian Club Indian Expat Men’s and All Women’s Volleyball Tournament, which came to a close over the weekend.
The event, held at The Indian Club premises in Manama, brought together fans and athletes for a competition featuring community sportsmanship and plenty of volleyball talent.
In the Indian Expat Men’s category, which featured 12 teams, Interlock triumphed after defeating Team KCA in the final.
Interlock claimed not only the winners’ trophy but also a $300 cash prize.
KCA took home $200 in prize money to go along with their runners-up award.
Meanwhile, the All-Women’s division was composed of eight eight teams.
Sindikato were the defending champions and they successfully retained their crown, while in the process taking home the champions’ trophy and a $150 cash prize.
They beat Team Dig Chivas in the final, with the runners-up pocketing $100 in prize money.
