Abu Dhabi: Shaikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, received Asaad Al Shaibani, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic.
According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), Shaikh Mohamed bin Zayed and the Syrian Foreign Minister discussed relations between the two countries and the level of development of areas of cooperation, particularly in development and economic fields, in a manner that serves their developmental priorities and mutual interests and brings benefit and prosperity to their peoples.
The meeting also addressed regional issues of shared interest, foremost among them developments in the Middle East.
