Students participating in the Injaz Bahrain Summer Camp visited the Arabian Gulf University (AGU), and attended a series of interactive activities designed to broaden their academic horizons and introduce them to careers in healthcare.
They watched an introductory presentation on the Medical Skills and Simulation Centre, showcasing the evolution of medical education at AGU and the centre’s role in advancing healthcare training through cutting-edge simulation technology.
The students were divided into groups to take part in a series of hands-on learning stations, led by faculty members and specialists.
Activities included basic paediatric examinations, vision and hearing assessments, wound dressing and first aid techniques, listening to heart and lung sounds through medical simulators, and learning how to examine newborns and monitor their growth using advanced simulation models.
The programme concluded with a feedback session, during which students reflected on their experience and highlighted the value of initiatives that expose young people to future academic and career opportunities while strengthening their leadership and personal development.
The visit formed part of the wider Injaz Bahrain Summer Camp programme, which aims to help students explore future fields of study, build essential life skills and engage with inspiring educational and professional environments.
