JIU-JITSU – Bahrain's jiu-jitsu national team are in Almaty, Kazakhstan, to participate in this year’s Asian championships for both youth and adults.
The delegation is headed by Bahrain Jiu-Jitsu Federation president Redha Monfaredi.
The youth events will be first to take place, and Bahrain have four entries competing.
They include Rashed Alasfoor in the men’s under-18 under-52kg, Ahmed Aseeri in the men’s under-18 under-69kg, and both Ahmed Albanna and Hamad Mohseni in the men’s under-21 under-56kg.
The adults’ team features six participants, including Abdulla Ali in the men’s under-56kg, Ahmed Albanna in the men’s under-62kg, Hasan Albaqar and Abdulla Khalaf in the men’s under-69kg, Nasser Al Showaikh in the men’s under-77kg, and Khalid Faraj in the men’s under-94kg.
