Housing and Urban Planning Minister Amna Al Romaihi visited Youth City 2030 alongside Youth Affairs Minister Rawan Tawfiqi to review the programmes and initiatives offered as part of the event’s 15th edition, organised by the Youth Affairs Ministry in partnership with the Labour Fund (Tamkeen).
During the visit, Ms Al Romaihi toured Youth City’s training centres and reviewed programmes designed to equip Bahraini youth with the skills and knowledge needed for the future labour market, while fostering creativity, innovation and leadership.
She also visited the Housing and Urban Planning Ministry’s pavilion, which hosts the ninth stop of the ministry’s Mobile Housing Finance and Services Branch initiative.
The initiative introduces young people to housing services and financing solutions, raises awareness of available financing options, and encourages early planning for future housing needs.
Ms Al Romaihi said the co-operation between the Housing and Urban Planning Ministry and the Youth Affairs Ministry reflects effective government co-ordination in implementing initiatives that support Bahraini youth.
