Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa has appointed Mark Eletr as General Manager.
Bringing more than 30
years of international hospitality experience, Eletr will oversee resort
operations, guest experience, commercial strategy and team culture.
His career spans
Australia, Asia, the Middle East and the Maldives, with senior leadership
positions at Anantara Hotels & Resorts and InterContinental Hotels Group.
He has extensive
experience in resort management, hotel openings, repositioning projects and
complex island operations.
Eletr previously led
the refurbishment and reopening of Hayman Island by InterContinental and the
pre-opening of Crowne Plaza Phu Quoc Starbay in Vietnam.
His experience is
expected to support Hilton Maldives Amingiri as it strengthens its appeal to
couples, families and multigenerational travellers.
A focus on
sustainability and industry engagement has also shaped his career. Eletr
currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Maldives Association of
Tourism Industry.
