Two individuals, a man and a woman, have been arrested for possessing narcotic substances, the Interior Ministry announced.
The arrests were carried out by the Anti-Narcotics Directorate under the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science. The suspects, both Asian nationals, were apprehended as part of ongoing efforts to protect society from the dangers of drugs.
Following an investigation triggered by a tip-off, officers identified and located the pair, who were found in possession of a quantity of narcotics.
The necessary legal procedures were completed, and the case has been referred to the Public Prosecution.
