Water, juice, laban and fresh fruit were distributed to 350 workers at a worksite in Galali as part of the Indian Community Welfare Association’s (ICWA) 10th-week summer health awareness programme.
The initiative, held under the Thirst Quenchers 2026 campaign, supports the Labour Ministry’s efforts to promote safe working conditions during Bahrain’s sweltering summer months. The campaign is supported by the Labour Ministry, Labour Market Regulatory Authority and International Organisation for Migration.
ICWA vice-chairman Pankaj Nallur, Thirst Quenchers co-ordinator Chemban Jalal and enthusiastic students took part in the distribution.
