US Ambassador Stephanie Hallett visited Manama’s Old Christian Cemetery, the Jewish Cemetery – the only operational Jewish cemetery in the Gulf – and Manama Cemetery for Muslims, all of which were established more than a century ago.
Located in close proximity of one another, the three cemeteries reflect Manama’s long history of religious diversity and its enduring openness to people of different faiths.
