The Yousif and Aysha Almoayyed Foundation has extended its support to the National Institute for Disabled, Bahrain, by sponsoring the airfare for its talented Albeerag Theatre team to participate in an international theatre festival in Egypt.
The team brings together Bahraini artists with physical and visual disabilities, who will showcase their talent, dedication and passion for the performing arts on an international stage while proudly representing the country.
The foundation’s support reflects its compassion, commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities, recognising the abilities and potential of persons with disabilities and supporting their participation in arts and cultural activities.
The initiative also highlights the importance of creating opportunities for talented individuals to express themselves, build confidence and demonstrate their capabilities on platforms that celebrate diversity, talent and inclusion.
The team has previously achieved first place at the festival in Egypt, competing among participants from numerous countries.
“The foundation is pleased to support their continued journey and wishes the entire Albeerag Theatre team every success in this year’s participation. The foundation hopes that the team will once again achieve an outstanding result and make Bahrain proud on the international stage,” it said.
The Yousif and Aysha Almoayyed Foundation remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote community development, arts and culture, inclusion and empowerment, and to creating meaningful opportunities for talented individuals across Bahrain to showcase their abilities and contribute positively to society.
