ONE App, powered by Al Salam Bank, has announced the signing of a strategic partnership agreement with CrediMax to enable Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) services across its point-of-sale (POS) infrastructure and digital payment channels, expanding the service across a wide network of merchants throughout Bahrain.
This partnership reflects ONE App’s commitment to delivering flexible and innovative financial solutions that cater to the evolving needs of both clients and merchants, said a statement.
Through this collaboration, clients will be able to benefit from seamless and convenient payment options during purchases, while merchants can easily offer the service through their existing POS terminals. The initiative also contributes to enhancing the digital payment experience and supports Bahrain’s vision towards a cashless economy.
ONE App general manager Haitham Al Haddad said: “This partnership with CrediMax reflects our commitment to position the ONE App as a financial marketplace that is built on partnerships to expand financing and payment solutions that support Bahrain’s economy.
“By enabling BNPL through CrediMax POS and payment channels, the service has become seamlessly available to all of their interested merchants without any integration or change in their settlement process.”
CrediMax Strategic Accounts head and Customer Service and Sales acting head Mohamed Rashed Al Sutaihi said: “We are pleased to partner with ONE App, powered by Al Salam Bank, to further expand innovative digital payment solutions across the kingdom.
This partnership marks an important step towards enabling merchants to offer more flexible payment options to their customers, ultimately enhancing the purchasing experience while supporting the continued growth of digital payments and e-commerce in Bahrain.
“We encourage our merchants to contact their relationship managers to enable the service and encourage other merchants interested in the service to contact us to explore our payment solutions.”
