Alomari claimed a place on the podium for the second straight day, winning the second medal for the kingdom’s delegation in the women’s shot put F55/F56/F57 category at Nagoya City Mizuho Park Athletic Stadium.
Alomari secured her bronze with a new Asian Games record attempt of 7.45 metres.
It came on her fifth and penultimate throw in the competition, with her other attempts being 6.92m, 7.07m, 6.91m, 7.09m, and 7.11m.

Alomari’s bronze added to the silver medal she won on Wednesday in the women’s discus throw F55 category, where she had a best attempt of 22.81m.
Following her success, the Bahrain Paralympic Committee (BPC) said that Alomari’s outstanding performances continue to highlight her excellence in Para athletics and mark another significant achievement for Bahraini sport on the Asian stage.
The BPC added that Alomari’s latest achievement reflects her strong competitive performance throughout the Asian Para Games and reinforces the kingdom’s presence in the continental Paralympic sporting arena, with hopes of achieving further outstanding results in the remaining competitions.
Aside from Para athletics, Bahrain’s talents in Aichi-Nagoya are also taking part in weightlifting, badminton, and boccia.
