A San Francisco-based tech startup has gone viral after posting a job advertisement offering 20 dollars an hour to walk robotic dogs.
Taking the four-legged machines on walks requires no previous experience.
"Start right away and get paid right after each completed shift, paid training is included", the company stated in the listing.
The mechanical dogs need to go on walks for four to six hours on public city streets to gather data for training AI systems.
Applicants must be comfortable handling machines that weigh around 15 kilograms, as the robotic dogs can overheat and may require being carried back.
