An Egyptian woman married for two months has allegedly been stabbed to death by her husband after he dreamed she was talking to another man.
The couple married on September 11 before running into marital disputes triggered by the husband's suspicions following the dream.
The suspect had previously attempted to kill his wife over the belief.
Following the initial attempt, the victim returned to her parents' home for safety.
She later returned to her marital home after the suspect apologised and persuaded her family to reconcile.
Upon her return, the husband allegedly stabbed her multiple times in the chest before abandoning her body in the bedroom.
Egyptian law enforcement authorities have launched a formal investigation into the killing.
