A 41-year-old Emirati woman died minutes before the Iftar in Ras Al Khaimah after her car collided with another car.
The accident happened on Saturday at 6.40pm in Al Jolan area of Ras Al Khaimah, according to Gulf News.
Brigadier Dr Mohammad Saeed Al Humaidi, director general of central operations at RAK Police, said a team rushed to the spot after the control room received a call.
The Emirati woman was pronounced dead at the scene while the Asian driver of the other car sustained injuries and was taken to hospital.
Police said speeding and lack of attention on the road was the cause of the accident.
