A Saudi policeman was killed and six others injured in a terrorist attack in Al-Masura district in the Qatif Governorate.
A spokesman of the Saudi Ministry of Interior said that a security patrol was attacked by an explosive projectile resulting in the death of Corporal Abdullah Turaiki Al-Turki, and leaving six security personnel wounded.
An investigation has been launched into the act of terrorism.
Similar terrorist attacks targeting on-duty police patrols in Masur Al-Awamiya in Qatif Governorate have so far claimed the lives of five Saudi policemen and left 26 others wounded.
