“The sky is the limit for future achievements,” said His Majesty’s Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs President Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
He made the statement as he visited today Al Eman Girls’ School to convey the greetings and congratulations of His Majesty King Hamad on winning the Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s Arab Reading Challenge.
Shaikh Nasser, also chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), hailed Al Eman School on the achievement, claiming the prestigious prize which was contested by 41,000 schools from different Arab countries.
He was received on arrival by Education Ministry officials, Al Eman School’s board of trustees’, administrative and teaching staff.
He expressed his delight at the landmark achievement which was the fruit of the strenuous efforts of the administrative and teaching staff.
“We are extremely proud of this brilliant educational achievement as we share with your happiness and feel your euphoria, knowing the value of the championship,” he said, hailing the students’ strong will to brave all challenges and their passion for excellence.
Shaikh Nasser stressed the importance to continue unrelenting work and exert all efforts to stay on the summit and honour Bahrain in all arenas and competitions and achieve other successes.
He urged the pupils to reflect the honourable image of Bahraini women, who represent a force to reckon with in their society and play an active and influential role in supporting national development.
