Students in traditional attire wave the Bahraini flag.
Week-long National Day celebrations at the Bahrain Indian School (BIS) concluded.
The celebrations included educational activities and focused on Bahrain’s history and culture, with an interactive house quiz for grades three to five.
Students from grades six to eight competed in an inter-house English elocution competition, in which they shared their thoughts on the “importance of Bahrain in the present Arab world”.
Celebrations culminated in a “glad rags” day, where students and teachers dressed in traditional red and white attire and enjoyed food and traditional dances.
